DESCRIPTION
Many years ago, a girl gave me a bookmark made by a nun during a seaside holiday near Rome, in Sperlonga. A world was depicted on the bookmark, an image that deeply affected me and inspired me to create a trilogy on the theme of the world. This painting is the first in the series.
